Pelican Feeding

Time: 5:00pm daily
Place: Kingscote Wharf, northern side - you can't miss the pelicans!
Price: only $3 per person.

The pelican man provides you with an entertaining and informative talk about the pelicans and other sea birds, while encouraging their participation with fish treats.

These birds are wild birds and do not rely on the fish treats to live. They forage in the sea for their normal requirements, but are quite happy to receive some extra morsels.

You will see them flying, taking flight, landing, swimming and trying to dive. Learn about what they can and can't do. If you like, you can even get a 'bit too close for comfort'. (Now, why DOES the pelican man wear a hat?)
